If you are an Arab organization in New York City and are interested in participating in Arab Heritage Week 2009, please contact us! Our group is open to anyone who wants to help us portray our rich culture!
Who We Are
We are a group of fifteen organizations working together to promote education and bridge building through cultural events, film screenings, informational panels during Arab Heritage Week July 9th-16th each year. Planning for each year begins in October of the year before. Monthly meetings are scheduled in convenient locations. These organizations are the American MidEast Leadership Network, Arab American Association of New York, Arab American Family Support Center, Arab American Medical Association-NY Chapter, American-Arab Anti-Discrimination Committee-ADC-NY, Alwan for the Arts, Arab Muslim American Federation, Association of American Yemeni Science Professionals, Mahrajan of Middle Eastern Churches, Network of Arab American Professionals - NAAP-NY, Saba: Association of Yemeni Americans, New York Arab American Comedy Festival, Salaam Club of New York, Salam Arabic Church, and Yallah Youth for Arts.
